This sale is for a near mint condition Mamiya RB67 ProS 6×8 camera body, tested and in perfect working order, including a focus screen and ProS 6x7cm rotating back adapter. Please note that no lenses, viewfinders or backs are included with this body; you will need to add these to have a complete usable camera.
Everything is in perfect working order. The body is the latest 6×8 model made just before the ProSD came out, so one from the last production run for the ProS. It shows only minimal signs of use. There are a few very light scuffs on the body, but that’s all. The light seals are in great condition, but the back adapter is from a ProS 6×7 body so although it will be fine for most RB67 backs you will need to change the adapter if you want to shoot 6×8. So the body is for 6×7 and 6×8, the back adapter for 6×7. And of course 645 if you have a RB67 645 back. The screen is the standard matter screen, mint apart from a slight scuff in one corner.
This camera will keep going as long as you want it to – almost impossible to wear out. These were made to run and run – and there are no electronics to go wrong. There is always plenty of RB67 kit available on eBay (and from me!) so it is very easy to add to your system later. A great purchase for now and the future and a great introduction to medium format photography – especially as this is one of the last made ProS models.
