This mounting system gives you a really quick, reliable and solid way of attaching to and removing your camera from a tripod. It takes just a second or two to move the locking arm across, depress the safety catch and slide the top plate off the base for hand-held shooting. The top plate contains a cutout to allow release of the film spool for changing films while the connection plate is still attached to the camera – a seriously useful feature.
This release has just slight paint loss on the underside of the mounting plate, but is otherwise mint
