This sale is for a really good condition Mamiya 2x Teleconverter 2x N for use with all Mamiya 645 manual focus lenses from 80mm focal length and longer and all cameras from the original M645 to the latest 645 ProTL. Please note that no end caps are included withthis lens, but it will be very safely packed for shipping.
It has great glass with no problems at all but there is obvious heavy marking on the lens barrel on and under the “TELECONVERTER” lens name. This has absolutely no effect on use, but it makes the lens look pretty ugly. Therefore it is very cheap for one of these fine lenses! This converter is recommended for use with most 645 lens from 150mm upwards (but still works fine with the 80mm and 110mm lenses), and doubles the focal length of the attached lens for the loss of 2 stops exposure. Your 210mm f4 becomes a 420mm f8. You can even stack two converters together if you wish.
The quality of this Mamiya converter is far far superior to any of the third party converters – Kenko, Rokunar, Vivitar, etc – and if you are serious about a 2x converter this is no doubt the best that there is by a long way. The rough exterior on this example has no effect at all on the image quality.
