This sale is for a very rare, mint condition Mamiya 645 80mm f2.8 A N/L lens for all Mamiya 645 manual focus cameras (and the 645AF series if you really want to); it is in mint condition and perfect working order, complete with original box (not in mint condition!), hood, leaf shutter cable, original instructions and front and rear caps.
This lens looks great and feels like new. It is virtually unmarked apart from a tiny bit of wear on the lens bayonet mount (see the photos). Everything works perfectly – focusing is smooth, the aperture control click-stops beautifully, and the shutter sets and releases exactly as it should. There are no scratches, signs of fungus or anything else that shouldn’t be there.
This lens gives you the option to synchronise your flash at any speed from 1/30 to 1/500 second with the built-in Seiko shutter. This is a must for outdoor flash photography where you are using fill-in flash. Simply set the shutter speed to F and cock the shutter to use the lens as a normal standard lens with your Mamiya 645 camera.
The power connector that connects this lens to the Power Drive Grip WG401 or automatic shutter cocking is also included – although the lens shutter can also be cocked manually if required.
A great addition for your Mamiya 645 outfit if you are using flash – you will not find another one of these lenses in a hurry. Obviously also perfectly usable as a standard 80mm lens as well. Really a very rare and top quality item.
