This sale is for a boxed, mint condition Mamiya 645 55mm f2.8 N/L A leaf shutter lens, including both caps. This lens is suitable or use with all Mamiya 645 cameras – M645, M645J, 1000S, 645E, Super, Pro and Pro TL, and even the 645AF series.
This lens gives you the option to synchronise your flash at any speed from 1/30 to 1/500 second with the built-in Seiko shutter. This is a must for outdoor flash photography where you are using fill-in flash. Simply set the shutter speed to F and cock the shutter to use the lens as a normal standard lens with your Mamiya 645 camera.
The usually lost power connector that connects this lens to the Power Drive Grip WG401 for automatic shutter cocking is also included. If you don’t have the WG401 power drive there is nothing at all to stop you using this lens without this cable as all you have to do is cock the shutter manually – which you only need to do when using the built-in leaf shutter in any case. If you are using this lens with the earlier M645 series camera you must always cock the lens manually anyway, as the power connection is not supported.
This lens has absolutely minimal signs of use, works perfectly and has super clean glass. The original instruction sheet is aso included, as is the correct No.3 67mm lens hood for this lens. You will not find a better (or more complete) example.
