This sale is for an excellent condition Bronica SQ 2x Converter S, suitable for use with all Bronica S and PS prime lenses from 80mm-500mm.
This lens is cosmetically near mint with minimal signs of use, but there is slight haze in the optics; perfectly usable but not perfect – but therefore very cheap. This lens is supplied with both end caps.
This lens doubles the focal length of your prime lens for the loss of two stops of exposure, so your 150mm f4 becomes a 300mm f8. A really cheap and convenient way to carry a long telephoto! Close focus distance remains the same as on your prime lens, so this can be a really big advantage as well. I always carry a teleconverter with my medium format cameras – you never know when you might need it. Not recommended for use with the Variogon zoom lenses.
