This sale is for a Mamiya RB67 65mm f4.5 NB (“New Barrel”) lens in very good condition. It is of course in perfect working order, excepting the flash sync socket which is not working.
This lens is mechanically perfect. The shutter has just been serviced. There is very slight and insignificant haze in the optics and some really minor cleaning scratches on the front element – but nothing that will have any noticeable effect on your images. There is minor paint loss on the knurled rings but otherwise few signs of use; this is a very nice lens.
Finding any wide angle for the RB67 or RZ67 at the moment is really difficult, especially the 65mm. Equivalent to about 32mm in 135 format.
Unless you do something daft like dropping it, it will outlast just about any other piece of photographic kit out there. These lenses are just made to keep on working and working – no electronics to go wrong!
