This sale is for a brand new Mamiya 645AF RS402 remote control kit, tested and in perfect working order. It is suitable for use on the Mamiya 645AF, AFD, AFD2 and AFD3 cameras, plus all Phase One models certainly up to the DF+.
This Mamiya RS402 set consists of a transmitter and receiver. You simply plug the receiver shutter release cable into the cable release port of your 645AF (but not RZ67 or the 645 Super, Pro or Pro TL cameras, which all need the RS401 set), and you are ready to go. No batteries are included in this sale but they are all easy to find.
This is so much easier to use than the electronic cable release, which limits you to 1 meter maximum from the camera (or 4m with the long cable), and still leaves you with wires travelling all over the place. With the RS402 set you have no wires, a range of 30 feet plus, and three channels available if you need to be running two or three cameras at once. You also have the choice of single frame and continuous shooting modes.
This makes it a wonderful gadget for portraits and studio work in general; it is extremely rare to find these for sale. I always keep one of these sets in my 645AF camera bag – invaluable!
