This sale is for a really excellent condition Mamiya 645AF 120mm f4 MF Macro lens for the Mamiya 645AF and Phase One series cameras (the 645AF, AFDII, AFDIII or any of the Phase One cameras). This lens has been little used and is supplied with both caps and the correct lens hood.
This wonderful macro lens (I use one myself so I know how good they are) includes a built-in floating lens system which automatically corrects for close focus aberrations to effectively increase edge sharpness at close focusing distances. This also increases overall performance for close-up and general photography at all distances. The lens can be focused all the way from infinity to 1:1 without the use of extension tubes or other add-ons. A lens hood is not really needed as the front element is highly recessed in the lens body, but it is included anyway.
A truly stunning and superb lens – and not easy to find. This one has superb glass with no issues. There is a little paint loss on the rear edge of the focus ring and on the lens barrel, but that is all. The hood is quite externally scuffed.
This is a superb lens in exc++ condition. The instruction book can be downloaded from this website. Please note that this is a manual focus lens; if you want AF you need the Schneider 120mm lens that will cost you well over £5000 – 10x the price of this one.
