This sale is for a user condition Mamiya RZ67 Pro II AE Prism Finder FE701, suitable for use on the RZ67 Pro, Pro II and Pro IID cameras. This prism CANNOT be mounted on any RB67 camera. Please note that the metering is dead and this is sold as a plain non-metered prism.
This prism has only normal minor signs of use, just typical light scuffs, and is cosmetically really excellent. However, the metering does not work. You cannot set the shutter speed from the prism (as you would be able to on a fully working prism). Metering always gives approximately 2 second exposure, which is not too helpful. Do not set your camera to the usual A setting; just use the shutter speed dial on the camera as you would for a WLF. Optically this prism is superb except for one tiny (probably fungus) spot on mirro. This prism would be great as a non-metered prism as It otherwise has great glass, really superb – none of the nasty silvering patches often found on RB67 and RZ67 prisms. There is no eyecup or base cover with this prism, sorry.
The instructions can also be downloaded from the Downloads section of this web site. Far cheaper than any other prism that you will find for the RZ system. If it just a prism you want, this will do the job.
